So she posted pictures with her friends on her facebook...it doesn't give someone the right to take the pictures and try to victimize her. If you look at the other pages, her pictures are very tame. The reason she didn't release them was the simple fact that they had no reason to be public. She has the right to her own life, and it is not 'unladylike' to enjoy your youth with your friends. It is a ridiculous standard to hold her to, and hopefully the pageant will stand behind her.
I know some people don't understand the issue with pictures of this nature but it really has a lot to do with morality and being a positive role model. While these pictures are certainly not pornographic and possibly not even enough to have her title taken away - they (and the negative media coverage surrounding them) are an embarrassment to the Miss America organization. This young woman no longer stands a true chance of winning the pageant and more than likely will "voluntarily resign" after her meeting with pageant executives. Miss America is very old school and they don't like controversy or negative media attention they are still touting family values and this young women no longer "fits the mold" as they say. Its said but I bet we'll be seeing a new Miss New Jersey in a few days (one who is squeaky clean).

These pictures are harmless! Give the girl a BREAK! in reality who the heck did this harm surely not the Miss America pagent..Eeryone get over it really read some real news and let it go!!!
This may be the way 'girls act today'as I hear all the time, but it really is low class, whether you want to admit to yourselves or not. Especially when you seek the limelight and want to become a public personality. The whole point of the Miss America pageant, is to be 'the ideal'and the 'queen of femininity' (just listen to the words of the song they all want to walk down the runway to.) Pretty much describes the gal in those photos, wouldn't you say? I'd like to see a slideshow/montage of those pics run while playing poor old Bert Parks(who's no doubt rolling over in his grave)rendition of that beautiful song in the background. Now that the pics are finally made available to view (they were "so innocent" it took a week for her to fork them over) I hope a TV show will use my idea to do just that. I swear most of America will wet themselves at the sight of it. Think I'll call "The Daily Show" and suggest it. :)
AT LEAST THESE PHOTOS DON'T COME CLOSE TO THE PORN PHOTOS THE BECKETTS HAD TAKEN. DO THESE PEOPLE EVEN THINK ABOUT THIER CHILDREN. YOU SHOULD KEEP YOUR TITLE. THEY ARE NOT X-RATED PHOTOS. JANICE.
