  you are all CRAZY. these are GLAMOUR shots. if these were 'playboy' or 'porn' shots they would be wearing a lot less clothing. they're wearing lingerie & CLOTHING. there is NOTHING wrong with these photos, they are absolutely classy. these are the kind of advertisements you see in vogue and for prada and a lot of brands. GLAMOUR. SHOTS.

  The pictures are great, much better than having a swimsuit photoshoot. Texas, Arkansas, and Tenesse are the best from the whole lot IMO : )

  I hate to say this but though there are a lot of beautiful ladies in these pictures; they all seem to blend together and look alike. I felt the same way watching the pageant; their speeches all sort of blended together and hardly any knew what they were really talking about. I don't think that there is nearly enough diversity to be able to choose truly the most beautiful lady in america; I'm sorry.

  Lexa, as the last poster also said: who the heck are you to say Miss Michigan is a joke? Do you know her? I sincerely doubt it as if you did you would know that she is a deserved winner, both beautiful and a genuinely good person. Get off your high horse and keep your uneccessary and unfounded comments to yourself. I'm guessing you're just some jealous (almost definately unnattractive) and bitter person who's trying to make yourself feel a bit better by attacking someone you don't even know because you've formed some stupid opinion based on baseless media reports. Get a life losers.

  To Poster number 11. Miss USA was never a talent contest it was always just good looks. It is now just a way for Trump to up his ego. Miss America is and was a beauty and talent contest and still it but is riddled with politics.

  Lexa who are you to call Miss Michigan a joke? She is Gorgeous and very well deserved the crown that was placed on her head. As for the black and white almost lingerie theme of the pictures, its somewhat classy, for these women are beautiful and THEY are classy women. Anyways, Rima Fakih w Bas ! :)

  Seriously? Just because these adult women are comfortable looking sensual, a lot of people act offended and dismiss them as classless. There's nothing showing in any of these photos anyway, and they're more covered up than in the swimsuit category. Really, people? Grow up and quit acting like giggling ten year old boys at the sight of a woman in a bra, button down, and panties. Heaven forbid they should be wearing more clothes than you see at a beach. There are plenty of wholesome women who don't view the natural body as a commercialized sex object but appreciate it for its natural gorgeousness. I say own it, ladies. I'm not going to assume you're a tramp because you take some lovely pictures. That's a very skewed perception and limits women to being either "good" and sexless or "bad" and sexy. Good girls are allowed to be sexy too. I'd assume by their accomplishments and talents that these are very well-rounded individuals and deserve to be in this competition.

  so you're saying that for a young woman to "represent" Americans it has to be in Las Vegas terms, which is soft-porn (women publicly displaying themselves in their underware).. Surely our people are better than that. Its so sad that we've reduced ourselves to that level, and now our women to publicly represent that cultural value.

  I really wonder what the contestants think of these photos. I wonder how many of them would have refused such pictures if they thought they COULD refuse. I doubt these pix were the contestants idea...what else would you expect from the Trump organization?

  If I looked this good, I'd dress up like that too. Mostly, in those awesome diamond patterned tights - on Miss Idaho for example - where the hell can I get those?!?!?!? Also, my only negative comment is, that so many of them are wearing the same exact clothes/hosiery. Boo for creativity/individuality.

  Wow, so the majority of this photos are no less classy than the swimsuit stuff that has ALWAYS been required. Most of them are wearing a lot more clothes and a lot less makeup than they will be for that portion of the contest. Not sure why we're judging so harshly...
