  You have a cold cold heart Oliver. He loved animals he would have been devastated if the dog would have died, but a human life is more important. I think God wanted him. He was very intelligent ThortonMelon but when it is your time to go there is no stopping it.

  More proof intelligent people are not always smart. Texting while driving is an obvious selfish act. Just as dangerous and distracting as other "life easing" tools, Ipod, satellite radio etc. Who discovered this wreck? The repercussion of this accident and most, can't be measured. Instead of all this bitching here which is so petty, learn a lesson. Something. I witnessed an accident when i was 13. A Jeep got 'cut off", went off the road & flipped. My Dad and I rushed to help, vehicle upside down and top was off, apparently he wasn't wearing a seat belt as the roll bar had decapitated him. No adolescent should see thing like that. One less Doc feeding off the pathetic sheep being feed of a diet of being perfect and staying young by a soul less advertising medium.

  Hold off your judgements--we have no idea what caused this crash. It may not be due to texting. He wasn't even driving on a steep part of the PCH. This is just so sad all around. I feel for his family. I'm glad to hear his little dog is ok.

  I was not aware tht it was an open Jeep, it must have been very painful for them both. And to think only a few minutes earlier he was enjoying the day with his dog...just goes to show, you should enjoy every minute of every day, and *if it is confirmed* do not text while driving.

  I've known this nice for for many years, and i find some of your comments to be rude. If he actually was texting while driving, then that was certainly wrong -- and obviouly very dangerous. Hopefully, those of you that have choosen to make rude and tasteless comments, about him, give thought to how your statments may disturb others.
