I think all these women are gorgeous both now and then. It's unfortunate that so much preasure has been placed on some of these women to remain ageless so they get plastic surgery.

where is also: tempest storm, kathy garver (cissy on family affair), elke sommer, jill st. john, paula wayne, bianca jagger, chita rivera, stephanie powers, anita page (silent movie star), blaze starr
I think the ones who grew up and are living in the present are the most beautiful, not the freaky modern art plastic sculptures. Some of them look perfectly comfortable with who they are and that makes them radiant. Some of them look they are trying too hard....and it's not working. Those rock hard boobs and pointy noses on old women terrify me. I'll be buying a supportive bra and using a good moisturizer when I'm that age.
To respond to an earlier post : Jane Powell and Esther Williams are NOT DEAD. And to all, I have to wonder if we would be this critical if it were male stars of times gone by. I don't think so...These women should be valued for their artistic and creative contributions -- not criticized because they have grown older. I would hate to see how some of you look when you are 86 years old !
These ladies....some the plastic surgery did a poor job...and some of them are lovely....I for one think Jean Simmons is beautiful!!Also...I don't think she had any kind of surgery.

It's not just screen ladies who have to fight the ravages of time. I'm a musician, and I lose jobs because I look too old to sit between a teen-age drummer and a greasy guitarist. It makes me furious that older people, especially women, are marginalized like this. These screen ladies should be commended for fighting the good fight with grace -- or with plastic surgery.
I find it rather disgusting, that such beautiful ladies turn to plastic surgery and, literally, make freaks of themselves. Aging naturally, and gracefully, is beauty itself.
Easy winner: Raquel Welch, though I am sure some of them are really nice people, and others as crazy as the whack jobs they were back in the day.
But Raquel...still smoking hot!
Ahhhh! Ann-Margret!!! Can anyone forget her in that skin tight pink dress with the ruffled hem in "The Pleasure Seekers"?

Brigitte Bardéax looks as if father time met her in a alley, asked where his money was and beat the hell out of her when she didn't have it. Cosmetic surgery junkies Mamie Van Doren and Barbara Eden are still pretty do-able. Jane Fonda and Raquel Welch are still sexy. I don't give a damn what anyone one says, Sophia Loren is the queen. I know she's 106, but I'd happily be that woman's b-yatch.
