1. It's so disrespectful to call them "old school babes." How rude. I am 35 and I'm starting to realize how fleeting youth is, and it scares me to death. Most of those women still look fab! I applaud them. I hope I am fab when I am older.

3. Some have not aged well like Brigitte Bardot but............ Raquel Welch, oh my God! How I would love to spend an evening with her. Oh, my God! Still breathtakinly beautiful.

7. Lena - beautiful as a child, beautiful as a young woman, beautiful today! Sassy, independent, uniquely talented. As I suppose you do, I wish you had started your career today - what wonderful opportunities you would have had! But I'm not down about that, and I hope you aren't. Those who know you cherish your lifelong contribution to the arts, and your dedication to your own identity as a caring, compassionate and sometimes fiery defender of individualists. 8. They all continue to be lovely and legendary. I hate that America is steeped in the culture of youth. I never thought I'd be 51. Now I am, and I'm fine with it. I'll never say things like, "I'm 50 years YOUNG!" or "You're only as old as you feel!" but youth is ephemeral and to try and stop aging is like trying to pee on a forest fire. Enjoy it. Don't dread it. Try to be healthy and know you're handsome/lovely in your later years.
