1. Mormon celestial sex! When they die they will each have their own planet to populate with saints. They will become gods. They pretend not to want polygamy but it is the teaching and desire it so much so they may have many many saints. To have countless saints brigs them closer to to become a God.

3. I am a past mormon and some of you need to get your facts right: 1. The main stream church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints does not allow Polygamy, what has been in the news are the fundamentalists. They have a whole different set of beliefs. 2. Before you people start posting websites to visit, check the accuracy. 3. As for temple marriages and what goes on in the temple, its something special and sacred. 4. We believe in Heavenly Father, Jesus Christ, and The Holy Ghost. And Seriously "R," you are probably one of the most ignorant and disrespectful people to post something. 4. This guy is not a missionary - he is way, way to old - the vast majority are between 19 and 21 - this guy looks to be at least in his late 20's, early 30's...this whole thing is ridiculous.

6. Why are all the Mormon responders so defensive? Every religion has its own sacred and unique rituals...The exclusive and secretive nature of their religion are what make others question and doubt them. Is that so difficult to understand? I've never known of any other Christian faith to ban others from partaking or observing of a sacrament.

In the temple marriage ceremony, women are given secret names known only to their husbands, for identification purposes, so their husbands can pull them through to "the other side" after death. As part of the ceremony, women also receive their endowments. These are secret ordinances and promises which make a person eligible to enter the highest level of Mormon heaven. The wife must tell her husband her new name, and no one else, as he is supposed to call her up in the resurrection. If he does not call her up she would still resurrect, but not as his wife.
