1. It appears from the phone calls and news articles that this kid deserves to pay for his recklessness. He is consistantly asking for "special" treatment because he has apparantly been raised to believe he actually IS "special." It reminds me of what I read that Bill Cosby supposedly said to his daughter we he heard her telling playmates that SHE was RICH. He very quickly reminded that "No, YOU are not RICH. You have nothing! I am rich." Celebrity kids that reminder once in a while!

2. I think they should let Nick out for 2 hours a day- to work in a morgue or other similar community service (that would show him the results of his choices). Then he can get out of the cell and still learn responsibility for his actions.

3. Im so sick of hearing about these people. Nick needs to grow the f#@% up and deal with it. Im sick of hearing about brooke and her music who buy the way cant sing for s#@$%, hulk who is dating a brooke look a like and linda for dating a 19 year old GROW UP PEOPLE the only reason that they are famous is because they act like idiots just like paris hilton

5. OK, I think this "crime" is horrible. With that said...to all u people who find the Hogans so pathetic...I say..thats AMERICA! Americans are so filled with their OWN wants and needs that they see nothin, I repeat, NOTHING but what they can get 4 themselves out of ANYTHING.....I say, dont judge, till U, YES, U have stood in their shoes, and I want to add that the HOAGNS didnt become famous on TV with out ALL UR HELP!!!!!! why not show some compassion and empathy (if any of U knwo what that is) and LEAVE BOTH families alone to grieve in their OWN way!

6. Just for comparison, why don't you post the photos of Graziano's room. You know, the bed he'll have to stay in for THE REST OF HIS LIFE. And the equipment he has to depend on just to stay alive. Put this little baby out into GP and let him get what he deserves. The TV producers and execs that are thinking of setting him up with a reality show should be required by law to spend a couple of weeks with Graziano first.

7. go after the sheriff?? LMAO!! all calls by inmates are monitored and recorded and also i'm sure many tapes have been used in future police investigations, if that person was an accomplice to a crime, etc. or maybe a key witness to an upcoming investigation. nick was tried and sentenced as an adult, so he gets no special treament whatsoever!! and also, if this is illegal, why haven't the hogan's lawyers gone after cnn and foxnews and youtube to take back these tapes? THEY CAN'T!!! it's public record!! they're gonna lose their case against the sheriff~

8. I Don't see this changing Nick anymore then it did Paris. These slow socially challenged young adults are raised by slow socially challenged adults who enable them and tell them the world is at fault not them on a daily basis. If Nick shows any remorse it will only be to get a spot on Larry King and a reality series.

9. Okay, That place looks like sh*thole, but you do the crime, you do the time. The audio of Nick talking to his daddy and mommy was unbelievable. What a bunch of self-entitled, selfish, remorseless, mindless drones who lack empathy and sympathy!! I heard that the seat belt rumor is a lie that the Hogan's cooked up to place cupability back onto John, Who would put that past them? I hope they have to pay up $$$$ to John's family. That family has enough to worry about -- taking care of John and their own emotional needs. It's going to require a lot of $$$$ to pay for the medical bills.. who knows how long he will live 30-40 more years? That's a lot of money for medical care for someone in such a grave state. Oh and his injuries are permanent --- there is no reversing it once you got part of your brain removed. Pretty bleak prospect that his poor family has to live with everyday.

10. It's a sad situation all the way around. I agree that John should have been wearing his seatbelt and all that jazz, HOWEVER, it seems that Nick would have gone down this road sooner or later, somewhere, somehow. Nick seemed to have this attitude that he was above the norm.. Maybe this will wake him up and "bring him down to earth".

11. A few corrections from what I've read here: 1. John didn't buy the alchol; there's tape of Hulk and Nick in a store purchasing it the day of the accident. 2. Nick shouldn't be in juvy; he was tried as an adult so he's where he's supposed to be. He's not 18 yet so they have him in isolation for his own protection. 3. John was wearing a seatbelt - the only words on this subject was from the Hogans. The ER said John had bruises consistant with having had a seatbelt on. 4. The Sheriff of Pinualas County released the tapes. They are a matter of public record and the media in Florida requested the tapes via the Freedom of Information Act. I hope the entire Hogan/Bollea family learn something from this experience. They are'nt above the law and personal responsibility is demanded.

12. Nick is a product of his parents... As far as I can tell they were and are lousy parents... thus you get a mixed up kid.... The parents should be doing time right along side him... Hulk Hogan is finished...

13. He deserves more time in a smaller cell.

14. His parents most certainly DO have culpability in his irresponsible driving habits. His FATHER was in his car when he got caught driving over 100 mph TWICE in ONE day, very short period of time in between AND his mother was seen talking about how much fun (illegal) street racing and dodging cops is. They also have been buying alcohol for him and allowing him to drink for some time, plus they have simply been ROTTEN, SELF-INVOLVED parents that have neither given him a good sense of values, nor to truly own up to his responsibility in this tragedy, instead playing into his whining and his mother actually saying SHE is more sad than the mother of the young man who is all BUT dead. Oh, they have PLENTY of guilt, as well, PLENTY.

15. hattie, I agree that JOHN should have been wearing a seat belt. But do you make sure everyone has there belt on OR do you just say ol'well your loss if we get in an accident ? Money gets nick out of too much now! He will be like all the other celebs kids messed up for life thinking he can just DO ANYTHING and just buy his way out of everything... John has a life sentece for a bad judgement to not wear a seat belt. NICK has only 4 to 8 months ???
