2. Why in the pics is there a handicap parking ticket in the passenger seat? Nick and his passenger were not handicap, not at the time of the accident! It must just be another case of a rich spoiled I am entitled to anything and everything including handicap parking spaces attitude! Unfortunatley this happened, but I don't believe Nick is the only one to blame. I have family in Clearwater and this is the past time of a lot of people and several people I know knew Nick and his passenger. And both those boys knew the risk that night and both took it! It is just too bad one paid the price with time and jail and one paid a price with his life! Really the whole thing is just sad!!!

4. That's right, blame God because of the things that go wrong in your life. He gives you free will to do as you please, in hopes you will love Him and live a righteous life. Your wreck was not God's fault. He didn't decide one day to snap His fingers and make your life miserable. Turning your back on Him will only lead you to an eternity in hell, with is far worse than living on this earth, confined to a wheelchair. God loves you and wants you to love Him. The world is the way it is because of us, because we choose to sin. We have to pay the price.

7. is it nicks fault because john didnt wear a seatbelt????everyone is really too hard on nick. myself being the same age as him i could never imagine going through this.. everyone needs to look at this from a different point of view. if john would of wore a seatbelt maybe it would of caused less injuries upon himself.

8. In response to the bitter cat lady's comment denouncing Hulk's belief of everything happening for a reason: I was not at fault in an accident that left me disabled, two years ago. I am 21 years old. Although I had my crazy awesome fun life taken away from me, I believe God allowed this to happen for a reason. Although my dreams and aspirations were torn out of me and replaced with titanium instrumentation, I believe what I believe. If Terry Bollea believes in God's omnipotence, omniscience, and benevolence, that is his decision. Be it the driver or the passenger, I, writing this from the other side, after experiencing waking up from a coma not knowing who my father was, after being dubbed a "victim," through the seizures and black-outs, an IQ level of a child----and continuing an ongoing battle to fight through all of these injuries; physical, neurological, emotional---(Cont'd)

9. (Cont'd)--Well, I must say that you ridiculously and inconsiderately stated an insensitive and ridiculous statement from a disgraceful and ridiculous, non-existent point of view. God "ordained" it that wisdom is found in those with expressible opinions; but he who is fast to pass judgment upon the opinion of others is a fool to believe he is entitled to opinions. The foolishness of such men is clear and evident, as ordained by God. In regards to parenting skills and rich bratty poser kids, remember that in the end, the true reflection of a man is formed not by the mistakes or wrongdoings in his life, but rather by how he takes from each experience that which allows him to grow, and in good faith, be all a human can be---a lifetime learner. Godspeed as you continue your journey through life...Perhaps someday you will experience something that moves you to find within yourself the natural sympathy, sensitivity, and understanding that we all are born with.

10. My heart goes out to both the Hogan family and that of his gravely injured passenger. Jail may be hard for Nick to face, however, after viewing the pictures, he's lucky to be alive and should get down on his knees and thank God.

12. And for those of you who feel poor Nick's suffering is enough and he'll learn his lesson with no jail. Well hell, he wants a reality show as soon as he gets the shackles off. Does that sound like a kid who's doing any reflection, introspection, or soul-searching? When he thinks nobody is paying attention does he come across as the least bit remorseful? Not even close. All the Hogans need to shut up and start actually praying to the God that Hulk has now seemed to latch onto in his quest for good press.

13. The Hogan family's reaction to this tragic accident has been disgraceful. The jailhouse phone tapes, the CNN interview, their reaction to all of it has been inappropriate, insensitive, and inconsiderate to John's family from the moment it happened. Even if they honestly feel that God somehow ordained this to happen to him, as Hulk so ridiculously stated more than once, you don't actually say it out loud for the whole world to hear. Is he trying to get public sympathy for his spoiled brat son with those types of comments???

14. Well, I guess it's official. Nick Bollea is the WORST DRIVER IN AMERICA. Marines are risking their lives everyday. Nick proves how much of a man he is by speeding on city streets. I am certain that there are dozens of marines who are ready, willing, & able to 'help' Nick turn into a man at his very moment. Instead, they will have to listen to him cry because he has no "Play Station", phone, or windows in his cell. This whole tragedy is beyond words. When will teenagers finally realize that they are stupid, useless members of society? Just sit still & do as you're told kids...for your own safety. Maybe get a paper route, or work at McDonalds or something...oh wait a minute...Forget I said McDonalds. Stick to the paper route. Trust me on this, America...NEVER eat in a place where teens prepare the food.

15. Should have not been drinking, speeding and "everyone should have had their seatbelts on. Yeah, I know same excuse he is 17 who thinks of these things! That's why you don't give "kids" race cars because they aren't responsible. He took a life and he will have to live with that! Watching the show you could see how immature Nick always was, not capable of making wise decisions. I used to enjoy the show but after hearing some of Nick's mom's comments on the matter I am disgusted with her.
