• 2. I cannot believe that ANYONE survived this accident. Looking at the pictures makes the accident just horrific. I personally think Nick Hogan should have served a LOT more time for what he did. Yes, his friend did get in the car with him and yes, he didn't wear his seat belt, but no one EVER expects a horrible thing to happen. I'm sure John told Nick to slow down or whatever. You cannot force the driver to just make a turn here or there or grab the wheel or just pull the emergency brake. I feel that no matter what, the DRIVER is responsible for everyone in that vehicle. If someone doesn't want to wear their seat belt cause its "stupid", then I personally wouldn't let them come along for the ride. I have let my friends know many times that I do not mess around when it comes to things like that. This is just a poor example of one's judgement and now look where it got him. I hope Nick feels like s*it for the rest of his life for what he did to his friend!!

• 3. People need to lay off of Nick. Yea, everything that happened was super messed up. BUT John chose not to wear his seatbelt, and I'm willing to bet that John volunteered to go into the car with Nick. Nick crashed because he was going too fast, this happens every single day. Kids like fast cars, kids race fast cars. It's a normal young person behavior.

• 7. I don't think Nick kidnapped John and forced him to ride in his car while he was racing. Kids are stupid and do very dumb things. I bet John was a willing participant and excited to be part of it. It's very sad what happen to him, but I don't think he's the only victim.

• 8. Nick is a !?#@$ excuse for a boy and he doesn't realize how damn lucky he is to be breathing and spending his daddy's big bucks!!! He should have been in jail for a lot longer than 5 measly months!! Nick should be the one in a permanent vegetative state for the rest of his life, not John. John at least had something going for him in his life, not just being a "celebuspawn" The ENTIRE Hogan family is one big messy excuse for a family! God Bless John and his family!

• 14. Why in the pics is there a handicap parking ticket in the passenger seat? Nick and his passenger were not handicap, not at the time of the accident! It must just be another case of a rich spoiled I am entitled to anything and everything including handicap parking spaces attitude! Unfortunatley this happened, but I don't believe Nick is the only one to blame. I have family in Clearwater and this is the past time of a lot of people and several people I know knew Nick and his passenger. And both those boys knew the risk that night and both took it! It is just too bad one paid the price with time and jail and one paid a price with his life! Really the whole thing is just sad!!!
