• 107. OK not to sound like a b*^&h here but those pictures kind of prove the passenger wasn't even wearing a seat belt. Though I still believe he should still get prison time I believe he should only get charged with Reckless Driving (remove the bodily injury) and DUI. I believe that some of the injury is to blame on the passenger. Nick had his seat belt on but his friend DID NOT (and in the pictures you can clearly see the seatbelt in tact on the PASSENGER SIDE). If the guy had buckled up there would be NO SEATBELT attached to that car! Nick had his seat belt on and got away from that crash with minors scrapes and bruises! Come on now! I BUCKLE UP NO MATTER WHAT even if I am driving 2 blocks. This comment is coming from someone who was in a MAJOR wreck wearing my seat belt and I managed to survive with only internal bleeding and bruising, the seat belt saved my life (and I was in the car with MY sister who was driving, it was her fault)! BUCKLE UP PEOPLE!

• 110. i think the punishment should fit the crime. he should own up to his mistake . he is just what 17 or 18 years old ? like im sure none of us have ever done anything reckless, and irresponsible. when we were his age. GOD knows i have ;after all we are human and destined to make mistakes. im pretty sure the accident has bother NICK . just because he got his license back doesn't mean he feels good about it . GOD BLESS THE HOGAN FAMILY !!!!!!

• 111. Tammy: One question . . . are you smoking CRACK? Your post is so ridiculous. They had to pry the kid out of the car. I think the rescue people know what seat they removed the kid from. Nick needs to go to lose his license and go to jail!

• 114. Alexa, what do you mean Nicks not a criminal??? Let's see, he was speeding, and that is putting it mildly, he had been drinking so that there is a DUI. And who knows what other laws he was breaking. And that is just for this time. That is not counting all the other times that he has been in trouble for his manner of driving. So how can you say that he isn't a criminal? If it walks like a duck, sounds like a duck, then it is a duck!!

• 120. it's part of being young making mistakes and sometimes mistakes can be costly, but they don't stop being mistakes. Was Nick,wrong for speeding,yes,Should he be punish for it, I think maybe he has been already been punish because of the accident itself, and his friend being in critical condition. I'm sure he learn something from this... Wouldn't you have?
