Isn't it funny if you look at all the pictures how the license plate made it's way around the vehilce in order to get into pictures over and over again. I recall them saying something about the call letters on it and it being related to racing. Which I find to be very very effective should this case go to trial for the law suit. Which I am sure it will and the police knew exactly what they were doing when they placed the plate. I would definately object to those photos with it in them.
Second of all .. They both knew what they were doing and they both had choices.. I feel sorry for John who got hurt and his family but he was older and wiser and knew he had to choice to get out of the car if he wanted to its' not like that was the first race of the night...
People these days need to learn to take accountability for themselves and their actions.. What are we teaching our children of the future????
Who cares about the handicap card. I don't think that has anything to do with the accident, Nick or John. If that's all you notice or care about is a handicap card you shouldn't be commenting.
Come on People. No one made Nick's friend get into the car. He new when he got into the car that they were not going to go 35 mph. They went out to hot rod (no doubt).They are kids. Nick should be treated like anyother person I do agree. Yes he needs to be punished, at the same time I do not blame Nick 100%. Yes, Nick was driving but think about it. We all tell our kid DO NOT GET INTO A CAR IF THE DRIVER HAS BEEN DRINKING, CALL ME FIRST. This applies for street racing as well. Call me if you need a ride. I believe Nick would of slowed down if John would of asked him to. Bottom line Nick will have to pay for it also. They are both being punished. My heart goes out to both family. God Bless you John and Nick.
well i hope his friend comes out of the coma and nick if he was drinking should never have been driving in the first place what if there was someone else there he not only would of destoyed the car and his friends life but possibly someone else.he needs to go to trial just like anyone else
I could not agree less about Nick going to jail. I have worked in law enforcement for 13 yrs and have seen first hand how people w/ money get less jail time. Or better yet, no jail time and probation.Which is worse because they are out there still causing havoc and have not learned their lesson. His poor freind is now in a coma. Believe me I feel teriible for his freind, but remember it was his choice to get into that car as well as Nick's. I think if Hulk was alittle more harder on him as he seems to be w/ his daughter on his show, this may not have happened. Nick if your reading any of these, do what is right, pay for the crime you committed by going to jail. Think about your freind, not yourself this time. Do the right thing for him.

All kids make mistakes whether they are rich or poor, with that being said. This was one of those errors in judgement we all have made at some time growing up. Whether you were in your parents car racing a firend on a weekend or your own hotrod racing around or even worse doing it while drinking. We were the lucky ones, nothing happened but at the same time we made the same error in judgement. Yes it is a tragedy that boy is still in the hospital in critical shape. What we tend to forget is if Nick was our son would we feel the same towards him? Or if he was a poor kid instead of a rich kid would we feel the same? I don't think so. We should not hold these people to any higher standards then we hold ourselves to.
what's crazy is I actually heard this crash...I was playing soccer down the street and heard an incredibly loud crash..our game ended 3 minutes early so a helicopter could land and fly them both to a hospital...had no idea until the next day it was a celeb...
i cant believe he wrecked a supra. he had it modified over 600 hp i think. terrible shame
