3. And yeah... I also think Paris Hilton is wearing makeup in that picture... she may not be wearing much in the way of eyeshadow or blush, but it looks like she has base and maybe lipstuff on.

4. I think this sends out a positive message to the impressionable young people out there who may have a lower self image thinking they won't ever look like people they see on TV and in movies. Albeit, no matter how much money you spend on hair and makeup artists, not everyone can expect the same miracle. I believe being a celeb has to be a pretty hard job... think about it! You are always under scrutiny by other people, and always expected to look good. No wonder some of them completely lose their minds! I don't envy that part of their lives at all. It was not really a surprise that it was females they showed in this article. It certainly would be interesting to see a male version of this. I have a feeling some guys would look especially better WITHOUT makeup on.

5. Aw, come on. Some of these people don't look so bad without makeup. Paris Hilton, Nicole Richie, Jessica Simpson, and yes, even Britney, look kinda cute without makeup. Never thought I'd be singing their praises, but felt it was merited in this situation. And Queen Latifah does not look bad either! Be nice!

6. I don't see why people find it so funny to bash these people just cuz they aren't wearing makeup!Some of those comments made me want to punch the screen because they are so ignorant. Give the celebs a break, u bash them with makeup u bash them without. And this piece doesn't say hey see theyre real people like someone said earlier. If that was the message then y would they put rude little comments at the bottom of each pic trying to b funny at someones expense. I actually thought that most of those celebs looked better without makeup than with so whoever wrote this, if u wanna bash people who just don't wear makeup to bed, fine i cant stop u, but dont tell me about next time.

7. I don't think this is about what is good enough or not good enough. Nor is it about sexism, because while we chicks may say the pressure to wear make-up and uphold the false beauty standard is the fault of Men, it is undoubtedly mostly women who clicked this link and who put the pressure on themselves to look a certain way. What is really classic is the idea that some people who saw this felt like the media was telling us "we're not pretty without makeup"...isn't that in the eye of the beholder? Many of these women look beautiful without their makeup and frankly, some of them look hideous when they are hiding their face under ten tons of foundation and mascara. What I really got from this is that when you wear loads of make-up all the time, you risk the SHOCK factor of your actual face. Make-up should be worn to enhance your natural beauty, not turn you into someone else entirely.

10. i think its great..it lets all the younger people in the world know you dont have to bare a face full of makeup to go to the grocery store... its ok to me beautiful with out makeup.. even though there clebrities there human too...!!! leave them the hell alone!!

11. I'm with some of you all on this. To see these gals looking natural makes me feel a little better about the way I look without makeup. However, it also makes me feel sorry for them. How crushing that would be to read about yourself!
