OMG, well this is the first time I have EVER WRITTEN HERE, however with all the millions she can have a driver at her disposal 24/7/365.....or didnt any of her consultants, concerned parents or just all of her admirers (of what I certainly DON'T KNOW) tell her that. Wow also the eppiphany of "I think I am changed and will start a charity so people will like me" Bullshit, it's phoney and so are her acts!! But "WE" put her their didnt we? Actually as a society 'WE' are PATHATIC.................

I hate that anyone would have to go to jail, even Paris Hilton. I had to spend about 18 hrs. behind bars and I understand why and at the same time I didn't like it. With or without money we are still responsible for our own actions and should be held accountable. There is so much more going on in the world that involves all American lives and yet here we are discussing whether it's fair that Paris Hilton serves her time. At the age of 26, she should really be considering some seriousness about herself. How many mothers of wealthy young men would be happy to have Paris as their son's fiancee or wife. I don't think many, she doesn't show herself any type of respect and all the publicity she gets positive or negative is not always good. Someone earlier mentioned her parents and attorneys being enablers and I would have to agree. No one wants to see their chid or employer go to jail, but the reality of it all is that Paris is just like everyone else.

DEAR PARIS, DO THE CRIME, PAY THE TIME. SAD BUT TRUE. ALL THE STARVING PEOPLE IN THIS WORLD AND PEOPLE ARE FOCUSED ON A GROWN ADULT WHO CAN'T HANDLE DOING A FEW DAYS JAIL. IT'S FUNNY HOW PEOPLE CAN'T FOCUS ON THE REAL ISSUSES HAPPENING IN THE WORLD TODAY.

I am a sixteen-year-old girl, and frankly I can make better decisions than Paris the heiress--it's just not that hard. And yet there's a whole generation of little girls out there who idolize people like Paris, Nicole, Brittney, and Lindsay--aren't there some better rolemodels out there? Paris might say this is "so unfair", but what she did is WRONG. Why can't she just serve the time like normal people? It saddens me that she thinks that she is at the right, when someone could have died from what she did. Just because she's famous, doesn't mean she's right, and I sincerely hope that the new generation of famous people will have true, unspoiled talent: not just partying herises who make bad choices and get special treatment in spite of them.

All I have to say is people lose family members to drunk drivers, and Paris is getting off easy with the 45 days, especially for everything she has done. I had a buddy who was in the same situation as Paris and he got 6 months. Stop bitching Paris, you're getting off easy. With no responibility comes consequences. So thank yourself for that.

I like Paris and Nicole and Lindsey and Brittany. Paris and Nicole are funny, sweet, naive, rude, rotten, etc. on their show, "The Simple Life." I like and laugh at their sense of humour at times. What disturbs me is that they do not respect the law and rules, including authority. After they have broken the law, they believe that it is no problem to repeatedly break the law. That is until some one from a higher place like judge Sauer holds them responsible. It is sometimes left up to pesons in higher places to decide your fate when you refuse to follow the law. It's a wake up call. Accept responsibility you girls. Get it together girls. Live well and learn from your mistakes. God Bless You!

I LOVE IT!!!!!!! Maybe just maybe she'll learn something. I won't bet on it. But it's possible. Until the proof is in.......I'm lovin it. And it aint envy folks. I have a couple Mill myself, earned the hard way, and when somebody trys to offer a special perk, I always politely decline. I beleive it Frank, I did ut my way. So enjoy the show kids, Paris news will resume on Monday you can be sure. Until then maybe its time we all get a life, and a real one too. The world's in sad shape. Go out and be kind to a stranger, make a positve change, help someone who needs it and take no pride in it either. Its OUR JOB!! ....Your full of crap! If you had "a couple Mill" you would know it's spelt "Mil." idiot. Perhaps you have a couple coffee grinders, er, mill's?

Driving while intoxicated is not a "minor offense". Besides, it's not the first time she did it so obviously, she learned nothing. She deserved what she got and hopefully she will learn something, not only for herself (abuse will start to show on the outside), but before she kills someone. It has nothing to do with who she is. If we are going to do the crime, we have to be willing to do the time. She needs to take this time to reflect on her life and make some changes so that she can continue to live her glamourous life.

Anyone remember Patti Hearst? She was an heiress and spent years behind bars...........so if Patti can do years, Paris can do a month........big deal, huh, what's a few days out of a lifetime. Having said all that, she could die in jail from a severe withdrawal of mirrors.........

They keep saying on CNN they are afraid she is going to hurt herself or "do something to herself", She love's herself, HELLO. she would never hurt herself intentionally, She needs to find herself and this is the perfect opportunity. Too bad it took jail to do it and not a far away Island, and that's just what she needs. TO BE ALONE AND KNOW THAT LIFE IS NOT A BOWL OF CHERRIES. She is panicking because she doesn't know how to be alone. She should read and make the best of it. Hopefully she will come out better then before. Life is not always comfortable and glamorous and unfortunalty, she doesn't understand that. Good Luch Paris.

first off i work for a prison system and she is not in prison, she is in a County jail. second she committed at the very least a minor offense. third she violated her probation at least on two separate occasions. she deserves to do time. I have seen more than one person with money in the joint so this doesn't surprise me. She needs to suck it up and do the the time. She won't do the whole 40 days anyways. Maybe this will be a wake up call for her, doubt it, but just maybe. If she ever does this again, the State o California will throw her slut ass in a real prison and throw away the key. Her pics today are so totally PRICELESS.
