They keep saying on CNN they are afraid she is going to hurt herself or "do something to herself", She love's herself, HELLO. she would never hurt herself intentionally, She needs to find herself and this is the perfect opportunity. Too bad it took jail to do it and not a far away Island, and that's just what she needs. TO BE ALONE AND KNOW THAT LIFE IS NOT A BOWL OF CHERRIES. She is panicking because she doesn't know how to be alone. She should read and make the best of it. Hopefully she will come out better then before. Life is not always comfortable and glamorous and unfortunalty, she doesn't understand that. Good Luch Paris.

• 228. first off i work for a prison system and she is not in prison, she is in a County jail. second she committed at the very least a minor offense. third she violated her probation at least on two separate occasions. she deserves to do time. I have seen more than one person with money in the joint so this doesn't surprise me. She needs to suck it up and do the the time. She won't do the whole 40 days anyways. Maybe this will be a wake up call for her, doubt it, but just maybe. If she ever does this again, the State o California will throw her slut ass in a real prison and throw away the key. Her pics today are so totally PRICELESS.

• 229. You know, it's interesting. You'd think that in a situation like this, she wouldn't want her tear stained face to be caught on camera - and yet she's very obviously facing the window. She's totally playing the sympathy card, even though most people don't have any sympathy to give her! A sad last-ditch attempt for people to take her side. So, sad.

I have a couple Mill myself, earned the hard way, and when somebody trys to offer a special perk, I always politely decline. I beleive it Frank, I did ut my way. So enjoy the show kids, Paris news will resume on Monday you can be sure. Until then maybe its time we all get a life, and a real one too. The world's in sad shape. Go out and be kind to a stranger, make a positve change, help someone who needs it and take no pride in it either. Its OUR JOB!!

I am sick of Paris because she is not famous to me because she act spoil brat and need lots punishment from the judge I agree with the judge because Paris do not want to go back as she is very scared of all women from the jail for thier enjoyment to have Paris in the jail and Stop Stop acting spoil brat and Suck it up and take your punishment just like the rest of us.and the media will eat you alive, and it will turn out bigger than it is, like this situation. • 235. I had to go to jail once. It sucked. I was strip searched and de-loused. Then I had to stay in this cell with this crazy bitch that tried to kill her mom. To top it all off I had to take a shit in front of the prison guard. At least she has privacy. she should shut up and crochet or read a book. Oh wait...

Only in America can two men ( O.J. and Michael)get away entirely free for henious violent crimes and a woman who happens to be a social light receives 45 DAYS in PRISON for a misdemenor!! Americans should be OUTRAGED!! For all of you that think she deserve's this you should check your jealousy at the door......nobody deserves this kind of punishment for a non-violent crime!

• 237. Look past the money and the fame and there is still a Human Being who like all of us has made mistakes. The same mistakes that alot of young people her age and even younger are still making as we speak. Paris Hilton is being punished because of who she is and because her family has money, period!!! So Mr. Rocky Delgadillo why didn't the actress from "LOST" (I can't remember her name) serve her full sentence?? Why don't you issue an arrest warrant for her to return to jail and serve out her full sentence?? What the hell was the big deal about her doing house arrest? The ankle bracelet is not a CHEAP program and she was still going to be CONFINED in her own home. Was the money coming out of our pockets!!! God Bless you Paris. • 238. Drunk drivers need to be off the streets and I agree with the person who said, what if she woke up in a drunken stupor and realized she had injured or killed someone. What would the system done to her then? What really put her in jail was her attitude, she and her parents gave their middle finger to all of us pions (however spelled), maybe if she had apologized to the court and the public and promised to never do it again, he might have given her house arrest and community service. Her parents, her attorney and all of her enablers have and are doing her a grave dis-service......SMB

• 239. I hate that it takes something this stupid and pointless to actually make a point! Most people want her in jail cause they hate her and all that crap. I just think she needs a serious time out. She needs to know that there is more to life than...money and fame. She has never known this. It's not her fault just the way she was brought up. She has always been rich and famous. So that's what she knows. She like many others need to know that there's more to live for and that everyday is a blessing and not to take it for granted. Sometimes it takes 45 days in jail to learn that. It's not the end of the world...but she is going through a lot of changes just like anyone else. She's leaving comfortable to shitty. But...she'll live. She'll come out a better person to herself and others! I hope many learn from this crap shit. I'm done now! i'm gonna focus on something else now.

• 240. Good point Afranio Correia! That makes plenty of sense. And you're right..there are more serious situations to be focused on. BUT! In strange way i believe that this is a important statement. I also think that Paris is being bullied. Celebs being treated like everyone else is long over due. I hate that it has to start with her. I really do. But in the end, she will be okay. Not because of her money and status, but because she will learn a great deal from this. Not just, "i know i was wrong". But actually learn more about herself and how much time she has wasted making herself the center of attention. I think she will be a changed woman after this. I hope a lot of young hollywood learns from this. It's important to me..cause any of our kids could become "young hollywood". So, if nothing else comes of this...just learn something from it people. Be kind and humble of your life...if not...then the media will eat you alive, and it will turn out bigger than it is, like this situation.
