• 241. At the same time I agree justice must be justice for everyone may we can not use this case to show it. Somentimes very dangerous peolple don´t go to the jail and nobody take care of it. This young girl doesn´t represent risk just because drove with some more drinks in her head!!, People, please understand that if we are not rich like her is not her problem. Why everybody is so worried with her?. Take care of you when driving drunk because you are not a Hilton and if crash your car where is the money to pay for event...Enjoy!!!!

BUT NONE OF THEM GET ANY SLACK. NOT THAT THEY SHOULD. BUT LIKE ANYONE ELSE, PARIS AND ALL THE OTHER STARS SHOULD GET THE SAME TREATMENT AS ANYONE ELSE WOULD. BUT THAT'S NOT HOW IT IS, AND THAT HAS TO CHANGE. EVEN IF IT MEANS PARIS SERVING OUT HER MESELY 45 DAYS. IT COULD BE WORSE. SHE COULD HAVE TO SERVE WITH THE OTHER INMATES AND NOT IN HER COZY CELEB-CELL AND GET RAPED AND SHIT LIKE ALL THE OTHER LADIES. SO I THINK WE'VE CUT HER ENOUGH SLACK. AND HOPEFULLY MORE CELEBS THAT THINK THEY CAN GET AWAY WITH THINGS BECAUSE THEY'RE RICH WILL TO. NOT TO TREAT ANYONE UNFAIRLY. BUT EQUALLY! AMERICA! WHERE ALL MEN ARE CREATED EQUAL!

• 245. I am totally against the release of PARIS HILTON...under ANY circumstances...be it physical or mental...is wrong & preposterous! What the LA County sheriff and even the Governor of the state of California has done to us, as Americans, has sooooooo given America mixed signals of how the law of justice (courts & law enforcement) use bribery over what is right. All this chaos over one insignificant celebrity! CALIFORNIA'S COURTS & SHERIFF'S DEPT. is corrupt!!! We aren't stupid, and I certainly hope, for the sake of our young adults & our country that they start treating celebrities breaking the law on any level as they would the rest of us. Under the circumstances....Paris's mental state would be a whole lot worse if she had awoken from a drunken stupor...behind the wheels of her fancy car and found out she had KILLED SOMEONE! She no more needs a psychiatrist than...uhmmm....President Bush!

• 246. I'm not saying what she did was wrong. But I love how we have to over do everything in life. DUI, Probation Violation, Woo-Hoo. If it happens to me or you, we get a newspaper spot locally in the police reports. I love how the media uses big names and stupid CR@P like this to make money and sell papers. It's a shame that this is what our world revolves around. So... has anyone heard about Anna's Baby, or the was in Iraq larely. NO because they found something more entertaining. Get Paris off the news and post more on the lowering gas prices or something, D@mn people...

• 247. Paris Hilton delivers exactly what the American public wants: beauty; wealth; fame; clinking cocktails and couture. She didn't evolve in a vacuum. Consequently, I sometimes think the "I hate Paris" syndrome is a form of self loathing. We love privilege so we can be all pissed off about it. It makes little sense. If people didn't like her, she'd be broke and never in the news. But SOMEBODY is entranced with Ms. Hilton. I say: she's had a charmed life, that's certain. But that's no reason to hate a person. Being beautiful has never been a crime. It's the altar at which Americans bow. So lay off Paris. She has enough on her plate. Like crap prison food for instance. I wouldn't eat it. Nor should she. Let her alone for goodness sakes. Or, better yet, send everyone who's incarcerated [including her] "good vibes," What a thought. Like be GENEROUS. I think she's drugged up on pharmeceuticals and doesn't know an In N Out Burger from a calf fry. The whole deal.

• 248. There are a lot of people in this world that are so jealous. I am poor, but I don't hold it against Paris because she is mega wealthy. I know all kind of people that have had to serve "no" time that were caught driving drunk--over and over. I agree they should be locked up. Paris was on probabion. She forgot to cut her lights on & got stopped. This has happened to me & I wasn't drinking. She wasn't drinking. Everyone seems to forget this. Is that enough to imprison someone? Look at the rapists, murders, child molesters, they get out on bail and serve there time on the streets waiting for a court date. I've seen this with all races--poor, middle class, and rich. There is so much compassion for a child molester. Something in their childhood made them that way is the excuse. Why have compassion for someone like that? Have compassion for Paris, she did get caught the 2nd time for driving while drinking, but not the last time. Be nice and fair even if she is wealthy.

• 249. Remember that saying, what goes around comes around?? Well, maybe this is what she gets for all the rotten things she has done to her "friends" over the years. Wherever she goes, she causes nothing but trouble. Perhaps she'll grow up a little now and treat people better in the future. Doubt it though. She's just a spoiled little bitch that needs to learn what life really is!

• 253. Maybe she will learn from this experience. This is probably the first time she has ever had to pay a consequence for what she has done. You do the crime (drunk driving) you pay the time. The legal system needs to fair to everyone. Look Martha Stewart went to jail and didn't compain. Grow up and act your age.
