I live a few houses away from Mr. Brosnan in Hawaii. A very decent chap who dotes on his children and wife. I hope a pap doesn't try to come in our neighborhood.
He'll be limping back home.

Allegedly, Keely stated to on an entertainment program, years ago, when first involved with P. Brosnan, that he hit her. Interesting in light of the recent battering claims. This was shown on tv.
Some poster accused another on this site of slander, threatening that P. Brosnan should sue them. Sounds like cyberbullying to me.
I was thinking, IMAGINE FOR A SECOND, this cyberbully's info has been traced back and found to be someone who is watching this person on behalf of P. Brosnan...now that would make the claims true and not slanderous. Gee, how would someone like P. Brosnan "know" that someone has posted something he wouldn't like, if he doesn't monitor this site..and why would he do that?
Hmm, just imagining out loud about these things. Hollywood sure is an interesting town, isn't it?

Ask Keely Shaye Smith-She had to wait 8 years for him to pop the question. Who was he waiting to capture for all that time? Look him in the eyes-Looks like he can flip in a second. He's not what you think folks.
West London Magistrates Court District Judge Susan Williams sentenced Brosnan's son Sean to 100 hours of community service and he was order to pay compensation to Omid Khalili for assault and a"Particularly nasty attack"
Okay, Jim. You say the photographer in this case was a "distant family friend." Then why did he assault Pierce in front of his children? If you all have been talking about what happened you should have taken the time to figure out how to spell his name, before hurling insults. It looks like Pierce was out for a quiet movie outing with his kids before being accosted by an agressive photographer. After having his home threatened by wild fires in previous weeks he deserved to be left alone. His children certainly did not deserve to be stalked by photographers.
The "Papparazzi" in this case is a distant family member of mine but we have all been tallknig about what happened.
He is just a unemployed actor wannabe looking for a way to make money. He has been doing this for just a few months and is not exactly a buff kinda guy
All the people posting here that the people who take these photos are animals and sub human should be ashamed of themselves.
Yes there are obverly aggressive stalkerazzi but in this case its just not so.
right before the punch he was telling Peirce how much he liked his movies.
It was only after Peirce realized that he was not a fan but a photographer that he lost it and sucker punched him.
If this goes to Trial I have no doubt that Peirce would lose and lose bigtime. This was a case of a star taking out his frutrations on someone who he should not have done it too
I know that the majority you will not understand to me, but want to put record of my opinion. The reaction of Pierce seems to me of most normal, considering the harassment that it is put under the actors in his as much public life as prevailed. And within these, Pierce is something special, a person who gives of his time in humanitarian causes, shared in common, honest and what is more singular, legal.
Teresa's comment in english..... very nice
To Dee the "ex wife" - if he's so gentle and caring - how come you're still married - most women would kill for a "gentle and caring" husband. Sorry, but your husband gets no sympathy from most of us - and you obviously don't know a thing about Mr. Brosnan or you would know HE IS a truly kind, caring, gentle man - and wouldn't provoke someone into a fight as your "gentle and caring" ex husband tried to do. Now who's speculating sweetheart? And just because Rosen claims he was ALLGEDLY hit first, doesn't make it true sister! The old "Peter and the Wolf" kinda rings a bell here...seems nothing more than Rosen's attempt to make a name for himself...and a quick crooked buck!
As someone who knows the Man, i can unequivocally state that He is a rare and exceptional Man in many ways. He is humble, takes pride in His work, His family always comes first and i've yet to meet a man with a greater sense of honor, honesty and integrity than Pierce Brosnan. While i agree fame has a price of sorts, that should not be a license for anyone with a camera to shove it in someone's face, and most certainly not when their children are present. Perhaps this country needs to have something tragic happen to someone as it did Princess Diana for the message to get across - that these people are dangerous, greedy vultures!
I just saw a story on one of the news shows that does background on the paps.. seems more and more of them are criminals such as pedifiles and murderers. Seems to me that if I was being stalked by someone taking pics of my kids.. there would be more than a punch and words thrown. Maybe the r/l people out of the "celeb" buisness should think about that.. how would you feel if your kids pics were being taken and not at the local Wally World but for any joe blow on the street. Children should be protected no matter what, and that is what it seems he was doing. That is a parents job and more should do that no matter what they do for a living. Leave the celebs alone...
Actors know the price of fame, and but their children didn't sign up for the constant invasion of the press. Taking shots of the children puts them in danger. Think about it, if a predator wanted to kidnap a celebrity's child, well the pap have provided that predator with an up to date picture of that child, haven't they ?
It's called child endangerment folks.
Leave these people alone, they are entitled to some measure of privacy and security, especially when with their families.

Your comments about Pierce stalking women, is completely out of line, and slanderous. Pierce's character is above reproach. The photographer at best, goaded Pierce into that skirmish. However, it is more likely that the photographer hit him first. He is a man of immense integrity and honor. Devoted to his family. And in case you ask where I get these impressions from? From every woman that's ever worked with him, and been asked about him. I truly hope the man sues you for your comments of him.
