1. Mr, P,Brosnan has all the right to his privacy and his family's too. those photographers are pain in the butt, sure it is a job but this job has to be regulated by law where they can not passter celiberities. The pop, was told by Mr. Brosnan to leave, he should have done so. that is why he got what he deserved. It is about time the law should do something about that.

2. Famous or not, anyone whose personal space is violated reacts the same way. Especially, when the safety of your children is involved and your sense of self preservation is threatened. There should be a law allowing these leaches a ten foot distance. Anyone who cross that line deserves to be punched. Do we need another Diana? These paparazzi are out of control and need to be stopped. Way to go Pierce!

3. The photographer was out of line. It would be a @$?#! miracle if these guys could discover some sort of desency and respect for personal privacy, although, Pierce probably shouldn't have hit him.

4. Way to go Pierce! More of you celebs should punch these picture monger whores where it really hurts. It would drive anyone to reaction with the constant barrage of personal interference into your space, lives, cars and family.

7. To the one who said she was the alledged ex wife..Yes your ex's job is rather distasteful, Glad to see there are still men like Brosnan who know how and when to protect their family. Keep your distance from the kids and you won't get hurt.

8. I wish more stars would lash out at the paparazzi, and maybe then they'd back away a bit and let these people live their lives. A batterer? Please-----way too much hype, guys.

9. Pierce Brosnan is an actor you pay money to see his movies, that is it ... he has no other responsibility to you than to promote his movies and do a good job at it. Our "American" obsession with watching celebrities lives as they go about their business ...shopping, spending time with thier children or just lounging about at the beach is just INSANE. He has children and a wife he has to consider that exposing them to photographs and unnecessary attention will disrupt what normalcy they can achieve. I find people who violate their lives no better than a stranger walking up to you and taking pictures of your children without your permission ....would you allow your childrens pictures to be displayed anywhere without your permission? Just cause they are celebrities doesnt mean they lose the right to determine where their images of themselves or their families get displayed.

10. I know stars are public figures but they deserve some quality time with their families without having cameras in their faces.Some photographers take it too far. Its not journalism its just plain harassment.

12. What celebrity has stalked,bothered, hired henchmen,photographed,wiretapped and ruined lives and generally thought he was Jimmy Bondage? Anger management anyone?

13. Good for Pierce!! But unforunately, it will make the paps pictures worth more, and notice that the "beating" didn't stip him from taking more pictures. And he will probably try and sue and get money out of it. They(the paps) push and push, just to see if they can get some reaction, it just ups the value of their pictures. They are such assholes!

14. I think that the action of the paporazzi's go way to far. Because they are famous does not give the right's of privacey away. They push way over the line to take a picture and it is time for the cops to arrest them for violating the privacy of these famous people. When out with their kids and wives, this should be off limits to the paporazzi's. So if you go over the line expect to be greated with a push back, punch, or broken camara's. Just my comments on this issue.

15. The real problem are the idiots who buy the magazines with photos of all these neurotic stars. Still doesn't give Brosnan any right to hit the photog. had he been attacked, all bets would have been off....
