2. They are all so gorgeous. Just as long as the doggies are happy it is all in fun and you can tell that their parents take excellent care of them.

4. Jeeeez, some people. I guess none of you ever dress your dogs up for Halloween? Or how about your babies? You ever see a baby in a bear costume, with a little nose and whiskers painted on and say "That wasn't the baby's CHOICE! You abuser!"
Or how about giving your dog a bath? Some dogs don't seem to enjoy baths, and it certainly isn't their choice to smell nice to us (my dog rolls in dead animals every chance she gets), but that's hardly abuse.
I'll bet these cuts and colors cause the dogs mild discomfort, at the MOST, and that they're not kept for long anyways.
6. As a groomer, I'd love to tack on some pics of matted fur that I've peeled off pelted dogs that are truly abused. Maybe you'd all like to see the bruises and sores they get from mats getting so tight? THAT'S real abuse. The ear infections, anal gland impactions, dewclaws growing into the pads, flea and tick infestations, foxtails everywhere. I've even found maggots before. But you'd like to crucify those that actually keep their dogs in good shape and dare to get creative and stretch their skills and limits?
My poodle LOVES getting groomed, and I don't make him stand for hours and hours. Right now, he's in an English Sporting Clip with two candy canes on one side and an ornament on the other. He jumps on my table and prances around when he's done to show off how good he looks. Just because you don't understand or enjoy something doesn't mean you get to demean someone who does. Morons.

7. This is absolute cruel!
Look a #1 face...Is that the face of a happy puppy? I own 2 adult and 1 baby poodles and i would never put them through this horrible display of "creativity"!!! How bout the owners dye and shape theis own head because aparently they would not mind it. Say no to animal cruelty!!! I dont care what they say about being art or what ever.. Its cruel!!! F#$@ you all that did this to this poor animals.
How bout u spend time doing something good!!!!!!
9. They look great and they do love the attention of the grooming. It feels good to them. I have a small dog that needs to be groomed and although I dont dye hime he actually loves his groomer and runs in tail wagging. And he looks so proud when he is all groomed up.
10. As a creative groomer , and Expo 2009 Creative winner, I take much offence to some of the comments but I would be more than happy to educate the people upset with creative grooming. First and foremost these creative dogs are a family pets they are much better cared for than the average pet. My dog is a registered Therapy dog, he goes to work with me daily, and is by my side 24/7. He loves being groomed and will jump on my table of his own free will to be groomed. He requires weekly grooming whether colored or not. And we both enjoy our quality time together including grooming time. The colors are NON-Toxic, we would never put a harmful chemical on our dogs, again they are part of our family. I can understand people not liking it and that is fine but obscenities and cruel remarks are pushing it a bit far. If you don't like it don't look at it :)
11. These dogs are top dogs and trained accordingly. They LOVE being in color. I personallyl know almost all these dogs and they have a great life nad are wonderful dogs, owned by wonderful people! The dyes are made for dogs. SAFE for dogs and hundreds of dogs are done every year.
12. I find it interesting that people who don't know about the dyes or don't groom dogs themselves are so outspoken. You don't know how this is done, you don't know what dyes they use, so don't pass judgement!!!!! Many of these groomers are very sweet and would be happy to educate you about the process. BTW, the dyes are non-toxic and the dogs spend no more time being groomed at one time than any other pet or showdog. These dogs are used to being groomed and love the attention. You can't compare them to poorly trained pets who see a professional groomer only when they are so tangled and filthy, they can't walk. If you don't know, please ask before making untrue and inflamitory comments.
15. These dogs have to stand very still for long stretches of time. They are dogs, they want to lie down, sleep, play- not stand still on a table for hours on ends for weeks. I think it is cruel. I would never put my poodle through this. Also, instead of grooming these dogs for weeks and weeks, how about you use that time for some good? Like head down to your local animal shelter and volunteer to walk some dogs that are caged day after day.
