• 1. Elvis himself said that he would watch the black artist. His record company knew the POWER of black music and wanted a WHITE artist to do it...ELVIS was created just for that. Don't get me wrong i'm a black man and a fan of elvis...but lets not change HISTORY!!

• 2. Uh...Elvis has been DEAD 30 years and is STILL making $50,000,000 a year!!! Think there might have been something special about him? Without Elvis there never would have been a Rock and Roll culture as we know it. As for ripping off Black culture, even major Black artists have said Elvis helped them and opened the door for their music. Jackie Wilson went so far as to say that the Black musicians copied Elvis!!!

• 4. Elvis is guilty of being more adored and successful, and that's it. Otherwise these same people talking about "stealing" and "raping" black culture would hate every white artist that was ever influenced by black culture. Elvis is singled out for this kind of vile, ignorant hatred because America loved him too much and made him the superstar.

• 5. Perhaps some of you should open a book or watch a film about Elvis and then you would know how hard he worked to get what he had. Also, since some of you think that the Beatles were "better" then him, think of it this way, it took 4 of them to do what 1 man did as a profession and still didn't accomplish the sales and fans as Elvis did. Not to mention, I am pretty sure that Elvis is still donned the KING OF ROCK AND ROLL and always will. There will never be anyone who will be as loved and remembered as Elvis Aron Presley. Before him, there was nothing.

Elvis didn't! the Beatles will always be greater than Elvis! he knew they were, that's why he wasn't a fan of theirs. he was jealous when they came along in 1964 & dethroned him as the kings of pop music & pop culture! they wrote all different styles of music, lead the way in music styles & creation. the Beatles' music will be the classical music 100 years from now!
