Shia was 'not' at fault. The other car ran a red light and hit him.
All I'll say is Shia is actually a very cool, down to earth, level headed guy. Especially for having as much fame as he does.
If you look at the total sum of how he's come up in the tab's these past two years... come on. Minor things compared to far more people his age, 'not' including having a microscope on you all the time.
He's good people and personally I believe a fantastic actor that will one day be known for his diversity in talent. And I bet you will too.

Who said he wasn't drunk? That's not what's going on... what the police are saying is he didn't cause the accident... he's still been charged with DUI... just not cited for the accident.
If he'd been sober, he might have been able to avoid the other car. This is not the first time his drinking has gotten him into a bad situation. I hope it's a wake up call.
And as for not running away, his truck overturned from the impact and he was badly injured in the wreck. He couldn't run away, not that he would. From reports from his own people, his hand and wrist were very badly smashed.

I love Shia. I have loved him since Even Steven. He was really, really great in the movie Holes! He is turning out to be a really classy actor. I feel so bad he got his hand crushed. Man, he is SOOOO cute! I LOVE YOU SHIA. GET WELL SOON! and maybe cut the ciggies, cause your body needs to heal, and it is hard to do that when you pollute your system with ciggies - but, make your own decisions, Shia. I love you no matter what.
