• 18. This is just plain damn dumb. The idea is that we men are supposed to sit in that foolish "quarter lotus" ankle-on-knee position to prove that we're giving Wide Berth (antithetical pun intended!) and not mashin' our massive package of family jewels. If you want to be uncomfortable *and* pop your fibula out...please feel free to sit that torque-y way by following the Manly Rules; they are conveniently chiseled in that big, stone rule book for worried men (that, of course, no one sees albatrossing around your neck!) I--and the guys pictured--all know that you just (surreptitiously) maneuver the Whole Enchilada up onto the upper deck of the potential mash-zone. Happy legs and happy bal...well, no squishing! QED.

• 23. i dont get what people are complaining about. so what if you think its ok for guys to sit like this? its a gallery of guys sitting the same way- TMZ never said "here are guys sitting in a feminine way" and what kind of "good things" do you want celebs to do? there was a gallery of celebrities with reusable bags instead of plastic ones, and people still complained. so obviously even a somewhat good thing isnt good enough for you all. SO STOP LOOKING if you care so much

• 25. I am married to a European male, and when I was living in Europe nearly every man I knew or observed crossed his legs exactly like this. It *does* look ladylike to Americans, but in other parts of the world it's totally normal and proper. I think it suggests that some men from *some* countries are quite secure enough in their masculinity that it doesn't matter!

• 28. My boyfriend sits like this often and he is the most manly man I know. Gosh, TMZ, what is the big deal with the way these men sit? I know for a fact it is uncomfortable to sit with your ankle on your knee (I've tried it).

• 29. TMZ...you are beginning to make the Enquirer seem like the New York Times; as you successfully battle your way to the top of the list of "dumb ass reads!" Get it together or become a complete joke. Its a new world and only the competent will survive. Have your writer for this story go back and finish high school or junior high....where ever he left off.
