• 4. I just looked at Steve McNair's house. It is really sad. All he had, family, money, good health, lovely wife etc. He did not enjoy that home. He spent all his free time out cating around. I believe his wife knew he was messing around. I also believe she knew he was unhappy in his marriage.

• 6. Well, sometimes you shouldn't play with a womans emotions. He was a MAN...Men dont think about consequences of their actions. What he didn't realize is that he had a wife. Whenever he realized he wanted a girlfriend, he should have done some critical thinking about some consequences on what might happen if he got caught. For one, he labeled the second chick his girlfriend. Now that is a strong title. Why couldn't she just have been his chick or his nut? When a female learns she has that title of "girlfriend," feelings are involved. If you a real female, one that takes relationships as no joke, you probably would have responded very similar.He was telling her what she wanted to hear. He told her he was getting a divorce and was going to marry her so what would you do.You would be pissed to.That's what lies do to a female.Puts them in a rage.Keep in mind the song "A thin line between love and hate" whenever you decide to play with someones emotions.

I believe u r upset another blackman chose to be with a differnt race other than a blackwoman.The women McNair was cheating with wasnt white either so get it straight before u start to talk about something you dont know about.

• 9. You all are wrong. Alot of you, don't know what Steve was. The wife knew. He always had lots of women. I grew up around Mr. McNair. He was never all that special to me. He just couldn't keep it in his pants. ...And the 4 kids by his wife aren't the only kids. He hads kids before her. He had kids right out of high school, and when he went to Alcorn. He was a household name in Mississippi @ that time. I lived at least 20 minutes away from them, and my mother was friends with members of his family. Women always flocked to him, and the baby mams would fight over him. It's funny how some people never change.

• 13. After reading these comments, I have come to the conclusion that something must be very wrong with me. I was thoroughly shocked when I heard about his death and even more so when I heard about the circumstances. All I could think about was what his poor family was going through. When I saw this girl's picture, I saw so much sadness in her eyes. I don't understand why we have to concern ourselves with race in this day and age (didn't Barak Obama teach us anything?). I know what it feels like to know that the man you love is cheating on you. Beleive me, it doesn't matter what the race, it hurts just the same. And why do we care what she looked like? A married father of 4 had a mistress who took his life and hers, leaving two families devastated. They need our prayers. Not ignorant, hate filled comments.

I believe there is more to the story frist of all she was 20 so how did she buy a gun in her name legally and second she is from an another country her type dont like for there women to date outside their race and he had just supposly met her family ..they think its a discrace and they will kill you and the person u with so why it couldnt be a set up to look like that... she had nothing to worry about he was treating her like a queen even though he was still married ... he was giving her a better life to new things so why would kill him and herself thats odd..but neverless he's gone and so is she and both familys are hurting over whatever may have happen they are still humans that lost their live....R.I.P Steve

• 15. I don't buy that he was asleep when shot (just because there were no signs of a struggle or defensive wounds). He can nap at home - there was only one reason for him to have that place. He's not going to be napping sitting UP on a couch while his angry girlfriend is visiting. i think the cops just put that out there to make his wife feel better. also - i don't buy his wife didn't know he had a couple sweeties on the side (probably did that all along). i mean he has a singles pad and takes a bunch of vacations without her in the last few months? huh? she really that clueless? such a shame someone had a great career, wife, sons, lovely home and STILL has to let it go to SH*T! These people are missing something big time...and it's not a piece of A**. Why they aren't thanking God every day for their good fortune is beyond me. What a waste!!
