Damn these chicks did not age well at all, with the exception of Elle. If I were Cindy Crawford, I would be on the verge of a nervous breakdown to go from smokin' hot to totally not!
Beauty is something noticed when the cameras are put down. Beauty is in your attitude, smile & eyes. Even some of the beautiful women out there (Tyra Banks & Naomi Campbell comes to mind) are ugly because their true real personalities show through to reveal their true mean attitudes. Smile & love who you are, that is REAL beauty.
Mean, mean, mean. This is not a fair article. I remember back in the sixties, one of the women's magazines ran a photoshoot with all the the top models, i.e., Twiggy, Jean Shrimpton and the others who were making London fashion so big. However, these lovely ladies were photographed in a group photo without their makeup or having their hair styled. If you saw them on the street, you might think gee, what a pretty girl, but not think they were supermodel quality. All you have to do is watch a couple of weeks of "America's Next Top Model" to realize the wonders the fashion stylists do to anyone.
In closing I would like to add that I always wonder what the people who devise and write these articles look like when they are not dressed to be photographed. Frankly, I would think that you wouldn't look twice at any of them.

These pictures are HORRIBLE. If I were young I would be terrified of aging after seeing these. Trust me, not all middle aged women bundle up in scarves and hats...ugh.

The now picture for Cindy Crawford was wrong. You can see Cindy on those exerciser commercials. That was not Cindy in the 2nd photo of her. Couldn't be.

These women have been airbrushed and computer enhanced for years. To me they aren't even real. A real beautiful woman is one that doesn't mind the stretch marks on stomach after having four healthy babies, has laugh lines on her face and is proud of her grey hair because it means she truly lives.

I wonder what idiots came up with this idea. You compare 20 year old airbrushed photos or Red Carpet photos with recent and unflattering photos snapped by paps. Aren't all these women over 40 by now? They look great. I doubt any of the children here who are being negative will age nearly that gracefully. Karma's a bitch though. When you get old, I hope people point at your crow's feet and laugh.
The after pictures are so far away/terrible/covered up you can't even tell what they look like. Cheryl Teigs looked old back then-like she did a lot of coke and worse now. I love Cindy Crawford. I've been doing her workout movies since high school. That's a very unflattering photo you chose for her after.
WHERE IS KATHY IRELAND??? SHE WAS HOT

Those of you who think these women look old must be verrrrry young. Remember, you too will age - and most likely not as well as these gorgeous women!
