• 46. Woopie made an honest statement in explaining why this dog fighting may have occurred. She prefaced her remarks by saying she in no way agreed with dog fighting or condoned it. What else do you want? It's a talk show where a variety of topics are expected to be discussed. Maybe the public would be better served if the media payed more attention to and commented on U.S. behavior in the world thanks to President Bush. Hey journalists, how about some real investigative reporting on important issues or is that too dangerous?

• 47. WHOOPI,you are awesome!! PETA wake up and analyze the facts of Whoopi's response to dog fighting. It is very obvious you did not understand the context of her statement. There are many cultures in this country/world. Many of us are ignorant to the facts of how other people in different parts of this country are raised. With that being said, by no means am I condoning dog fighter. I am a ANIMAL LOVER!!

• 51. I think Whoopi was not condoning what Vick did . I think she was trying to suggest why HE THOUGHT it was OK to do it. Get a grip people, just because the rest of those hens are afraid to voice their opinions does nt mean everyone they hire is going to. I would love to see Elizabeth go, she makes my skin crawl ! • 53. You go Woopie, at least Woopie is more experienced and educated on what she said. Elizabeth needs to do home work (educated) on most of the topics being discussed. • 54. Location, location, location. Whether we wish to accept it or not, the areas we all live in influence our way of living to some degree and is what makes us a diversified nation. But, bad behavior is not to be condoned anywhere. We should always strive to set examples for other people. Those in public view, on a regular basis, are held to a high or higher standard than most. This does not permit Michelle Cho to use "grits and Belgian waffles" as comparisons for people from different areas either. She is stereo-typing people in the same manner she condemns Whoopie's remarks. Please, stop the attacks and recognize mistakes are made and focus on how the wrong has been righted. We all make mistakes in our lives; but most learn from them and never repeat them. It is time to move on. Today is a new day!

• 55. I feel Elizabeth is a fake and a phony. Elizabeth talks, but can she really walk? Elizabeth puts on a fasod, enamence front. She does talk over Joy and others, like it is her show. Elizabeth, the showtime business is not for you. Maybe the soap opera industry can use you.If there is an opening role, for a carn artist,manipulative back stabbing phony.I think they need to put a man on the show, not just all women. I think the show needs to be balanced so there is a happy medium.

• 56. I've watched the View since its inception. Meredith was a stable host, holding the show together. Star Jones had the most brains of anyone. Big mistake to let her go. She is super great on Court TV. Joy mediates and tries to still the storms with humor. Elissabeth is disgusting, overbearing and devious. Let her go. Rosie is a kick. And, she is mostly right and believes the right thing should be done. Woopie--always great and intelligent too. Lisa Lang--a prize. She was destined to move on to bigger assignments. And then there is Barbara. I've followed her career since she was constantly beat up while breaking ground for females. She tries to stay "middle of he road" which detracts from her true strengths.

After reading some of the messages against Elizabeth, and being in the psychology field it can only prompt me to believe that certain statements show jealousy, envy and sexual frustration, like an unnatainable goal. CAREFULL LADIES. I think Elizabeth represents a great percentage of the "decent" American women, and just because she doesn't agree with some of the inmoral subjects that are discussed in The View, that doesn't make her a bad person on the contrary. Elizabeth you are like a breath of fresh air!!!!!!! YOU GO GIRL AND KEEP MAKING US PROUD!!!!!!!!!!
