• 18. honestly, TMZ, you ruin yourselves by ridin the Mel Gibson hate train. The guy has given Hollywood countless great movies and is a legend. and because of a mistake that did not take a life or ruin one... you have him above than worthless garbage like chris cocker, britney spears, greasy bear, courtney love and heidi & spencer and paula abdul? Hey, he made a terrible mistake and he has suffered long enough. The man has apologized and unless you have done more with your life, (than mad max, lethal weapon, braveheart) or more importantly all his charity work than how can you judge him? I'm sorry, but Mel wreck will never ruin him my eyes because i have an ability to forgive people, especially great ones like Mel. Next time, just make it Paris Hilton and everyone will be happy because she is worthless and true evil because she has never contributed anything in society, has no talent, beauty or heart!!

• 19. I thought last night's show (Tuesday April 29) was badly rushed and very unprofessional. At this stage of the competition, if the producers are going to let each of the contestants do two songs, an hour is not enough if they're going to push things they way they did last night. Seacrest bordered on rude and the public, without whose support there is no show, did not get what they bargained for last night. I can't excuse Paula's mammoth screw up in evaluating a song that hadn't been sung, but she, like the rest of the judges and contestants were badly rushed on the first round commentary. Shame on the show. Cut 30 minutes out of the vote-off night (get rid of those worthless call in's and keep the performers limited to one - the week's music mentor) and give the other half hour back to performance night. The networks will go along because Idol is a cash cow!
