If someone is a particular star on a particular popular show that 12 year olds watch and they become a role model, then yes, their lives are affecting us.

I THINK ITS REDICULOUS THAT YOU GUYS ACT LIKE SAINTS.. ARE ANY OF THESE CELEBS LIFES DIRECTLY AFFECTING YOURS? NO PROBABLY NOT.. IF YOU DONT LIKE BRITNEY SPEARS, JAMIE LYNN, OR ANY OTHER CELEB OUT THERE THEN DONT FEED OFF THEIR DRAMA... MAYBE YOU ALL SHOULD START TAKING A LOOK AT YOUR OWN LIVES, I KNOW I'LL BE THE FIRST ONE TO TELL YOU IM NOT PERFECT, NOR DO I CLAIM TO BE....

Marriage is a piece of paper. A healthy child can be raised without it. However, this does NOT excuse a 16 year old from being irresonsible and sleeping with a 19 year old without protection and becoming pregnant. Especially after her lawyers said "Ms. Spears is a devout Christian with a spotless reputation, who lives in accordance with the highest moral and ethical standards in accordance with her faith... a malicious story and false story which would be emotionally devastating to a morally upright 16 year old girl.”

I don't understand why all the news casts are blaming Britney for Jamie Lynn getting knocked up...Jamie Lynn didn't shave her head and beat a car with an umbrella.
Oh good greif! I want a poll to see how many of you women posting these very rude comments waited until marriage to have sex! Hypocrisy will get you know where.

Life is complicated. Please do not cast your personal influences on a 16 yearold. Life is that thing that happens while you are making other plans. I am 26 and married and one day hope to be a mother; but Jamie is in another position. I cannot judge because that is what the bible teaches. And besides the point; free will is what our society is based on, For which we agree our do not; free will is just that. Mistakes happen and love is the greatest of all commandments. So Grow up Lizzie and learn that everyone is created equal yet the same under god's love. I pray for you Lizzie. Whether you agree or not this is what God wanted for her and her child. Life is a trial, the verdict always comes in at the end; and the sentence is not always death or damnnation to hell.
Most of these women don't need a men after they have their babies>They have their own money.Men are complaining ,,but will you stick around most of the time?I bet not......
I personally think that Jamie is doing the right thing by keeping the baby. Everyone makes mistakes, and sure, the fact that she is 16 and having a baby isn't a good thing, but i mean what can you do. Sure you can talk to some one and use protection, but that isn't even 100%. Its not like she is the only pregnant teenager in the United States. There are plenty of them. Teenagers and young adults make mistakes. I hate to point this out, but we have one extremely messed up generation. Its the truth, all the drugs, and teenages deaths from drunk driving. I've lost 6 people this past year alone. I've had 6 fights in my school in ONE WEEK. Everyone seriously makes mistakes, and there is nothing we can do about them. They have to live with those mistakes the rest of their lives. We seriously don't have to make it harder on them but degrading them. Im sorry but its true.
It makes me wonder how long and how many times Jamie was putting out before she turned up knocked up? But as you know her Mother isn't a very good example to follow thats why her Husband more than likely Divorced her is because you couldn't talk any sense into her!Yet she goes about the same way making the same mistakes over again & again with both girls!!!!!!!
And to think all those (apparently non-discering) little girls look up to Jamie Lynn. Good job. Because a 16 year old is totally mature enough to take care of a child.
I smell a second Britney... and she smeels like Cheetos and vodka.
P.S.- your state of marriage doesn't mean !?#$@ about your ability to raise a child. Marriage is a piece of paper, a commitment can be made without it.

@$!?# happens.. if u have pre marital sex ... u are takin the chance of getting pregnant... i do agree tho, if u know ur at an age that really isnt old enough to accept that big of a responsibility.. u prolly should be takin all the precautions necessary to keep it from happening.. things are diff tho with these women.. they do have lots of money that most average american women dont have.. but that doesnt make a good parent.. lets just pray that these women do not take lessons from britney and i think they will be great.
I am so sad for all these pregnant little girls. I am a 22 yr old female who cant imagine having a child ay MY age no-less without a husband. As my mother said, A baby without a DADDY is the quickest road to poverty. THATS WHY I'M ON THE PILL. I dont understand why none of these RICHHHHH... ladies get on the pill. It doesn't make sense. Its way cheaper than that damn beamer your driving. MAKE A DAMN DOCTORS APPOINTMENT!!!!
