• 5. I work and live in malibu... Little dume is a pretty nice semi private beach but it isn't completely private, not where they were. I was there that day and the paparazzi were actually being chill. They got their photos but they were being nice about it. The MLO crowd was pretty drunk and acting up as usual. Once the fighting started it went both ways, leaving both crowds at fault. Stars do want to be left alone at times but this wasn't one of those times were teh cameras were invading; at least not from were i was sitting. Matthew should have went to staircases and he wouldn't have been bothered.

• 9. I thought surfers were suppose to be cool laid back and peaceful types. No machismo gang mentality frat boy types. True surfing is more than a six pack on your abs and a surf board. It's a spiritual light attitude about life. A true surfer wouldn't give a rats behind if someone was snapping photos or not. And they certainly wouldn't gang up on one guy like that. I mean, I could understand if they were from the mambooboo tribe and thought that pictures would steal their soul or something. But other than that, who cares if someone is taking pictures? I think this is a case of drunk dudes looking to kicks sand in some one's face.

• 11. These spoiled rich posers who think it's alright to gang up on one fat guy make me sick. It's unfortunate that they make all surfers look bad by the cowardly way they acted. Maybe having POINT DUME exposed will be the ultimate irony! To any "local" who thinks it's OK to live by the sword (beat others), know that you will eventually die by a sword (when someone who really knows how to fight or has a gun shows up)!
