• 32. I'm so sad. Doesn't it just say it all about the true nature of the mega-film industry when one of it's rising stars is not looked after properly. Honestly; this was a sensitive young man who gave all to his roles. After his relationship break-up and working so hard on such psychologically demanding roles and then getting pneumonia, why wasn't the industry making sure that he was handled with due care and attention to his health. Why wasn't he in fuckin therapy? This may not have been a suspicious death but it speaks about lack of duty of care by an industry which just wanted to make big bucks out of him. I will never forget Heath's portral of a repressed bisexual man in Brokeback. He said what needed to be said, and with such economy! Love you babe.

You're a great, down to earth, talented young man who was very dedicated to your work that had left many of us inspired. Your were very committed, loving, and caring to your family and to the people around you who had also loved you so dearly. • 34. It's heart breaking and I'm saddened to the loss of a great, young, soulful man - Heath Ledger. All these are unbelievably shocking and very hard to digest. Your passing had affected me in so many ways. You have this successful life ahead of you when you was taken away from us so sudden. Many of us have had our minds troubled when certain things in our life don't work the way we want them to be. You performed remarkably on your acting and I've had the opportunity to follow some of your work through the years. Though I didn't get the pleasure of meeting you, you've touched my life in special ways as if i knew you all along. It'll still be hard for some of us to accept the fact that you're out of reach. But you're in Happy place now which you truly deserve. A place away from hardships, sorrows and pain. You may not be here with us today but we we all know that you're up there looking down and smiling at us. Your smile that we wish we'd still see everyday...(more below)

• 36. Tuesday, January 22, 2008 was truly a sad day for family and friends, fans and the film industry. You were an amazing actor with so much talent and such a promising future ahead. You were incredible, and no one can ever replace you...truly one of a kind. It's extremely sad that we won't be able to hear that voice of yours, watch your passion for film shine through the big screen, or see you grow with your daughter Matilda. You will be missed by so many, and never will you be forgotten. I pray to God that your family and friends take comfort in knowing that you're in a better place, looking over them. You and your family will forever be in my heart, as it still aches because you're gone. Rest In Peace, Heath Ledger. May you live in the sky...Heaven is so lucky to have you if we can't have you...I love you and I wish you were here...

• 37. This is such a sad ending to what could of been such a promising life. I have only thought of his child and how sad it will be for her mother to have to tell her daddy is gone!

• 39. You truly were an angel sent from God in heaven above. Your shocking death just broke the hearts of everyone you loved. When I found out that you had died I thought that they were wrong. You were so alive - and then just like that, you were gone. A flame blown out in seconds, Confirming our worst fears - A light that shines no more on earth for which we shed many tears. But still you are our beacon And we need you right now. You hear all the prayers we say Because they are answered somehow. I wish that you could be here, But in a way you are. Matilda Rose is here, so I know you can't be far. It still is quite a shock to the world that you had to die; But no one will forget you And I love you, and goodbye.

• 41. I may be only 13 years old going on 14 but I know talent when I see it and boy did you have it. It seems so unfair how you were taken from us waaaaay too early. But if we can't have you here on earth then I am glad that all the angels is heaven can. I am praying for your family and your beautiful daugher Matilda. I belive that she will know that her daddy loved her dearly. I hope you know that you will be for ever loved and missed. • 42. My prayers go out to the family and friends of Heath Ledger. I too have been grieving over this tragic accident as if I knew Heath. My prayers go out to Michelle Williams and Matilda. Stay strong and remember the wonderful memories you had with Heath. I will surely miss you and the opportunity of seeing you grow old as a father and a talented actor. You were definitely outside of the "Hollywood Box" and for that, you will always remain honorable and loved. Rest peacefully in Heaven, Debra.

• 43. The loss of you is haunting. I never met you but I know that you were a great man. Your passing makes me think of what my daughter who is almost 1 would loose if her daddy died. Michelle God give you the strength to give such painful news Matilda loved him so much and she will go to be a strong woman because of the love of her wonderful parents. • 44. Heath was definately one of those rare talents, very down to earth, no phoniness about him...I realized by pure coincidence I saw every movie he did, most recently Candy on cable. He is so believeable and honest in his roles, the sign of a true talent, not just hogging the party spotlight, Brokeback was his best work ever though...awesome guy, great talent, he is sorely missed.
