Thanx for ur blessings, Chanel. THERES DEFINITELY NO NEED TO FEEL SORRY, for the "pottie people". I too am a firm believer that is fairly blessed, but i still smoke weed and ask for forgiveness. Your concern shouldnt be in others and their actions nor where their money is going, especially if it has in no way shape or form affected you.Im sure you spend money on random unnecessary goods and/or services also and i know for sure you are definitely not an angel who does no wrong. Whether on or off a substance, bad things can happen. And.. in AMERICA.. you can spend your money any way you like it. Charity, drugs, sex, whatever. Additionally, God is the only one who has the final word and the only one who has the authority to judge any individual. Try doing a little research ;)

Tarzan: This paragraph is for you. You are one of the dumbest people, and that was one of the dumbest comments I have ever read. First of all, WHY exactly is it more likely that "Alice C" is a self absorbed pothead rather than just one of the many advocates for marijuana. And you act like the word "majority" implies the term "correct". You republican idiots are the ones that got Bush elected in the first place, and now what's his approval rating? And I hope you don't think that pot is illegal because it's "bad for you". The government doesn't care about anyone's health but their own. Come on, death is a side effect of the medication used to treat restless legs syndrome. They don't care. But even so, it would help people like you out if it were legalized while the current people are still in office (sadly). If marijuana were legal, and taxed at only 5%, it would make up NINE PERCENT of America's entire GNP. That's right.

So people like me could enjoy nice legal smokes, and people like you could sleep better at night knowing that our increased GNP would result in even more funding for the military, and more innocent people and soldiers could die. And yes, I'm obviously aware that was a bit of a counter-statement, but it's so sadly true with the monkeys we have currently attempting to run our country. Have you ever taken Aspirin? Well then you went and did more damage to your body than a person who regularly smokes marijuana. I mean, are you even aware of all the legal drug dealing that is going on in hospitals? Aspirin, on average, kills 1,000 people a year and 27,000 more die annually from other prescription drugs. A dose of magic mushrooms is chemically less harmful to one's body than ONE Aspirin. You need to develop intelligent thoughts rather than not give marijuana a chance because it was branded "illegal".

Not only would marijuana help the economy, but if really good strains of marijuana were sold, it would put quite a few drug dealers out of business. Why don't you take your fiery, angry self and fight against one of the many actually important issues going on? And hey, weed doesn't give people yellow nails. That's tobacco you're thinking of. How on earth would it negatively affect you? All I have to say is look at the overall annual statistics for cause of death in the United States. Tobacco: 435,000 Poor diet and physical inactivity: 365,000 Alcohol: 85,000 Non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs such as Aspirin: 7,600 Marijuana: 0

I really feel sorry for all of you pottie people. I am not a bitter ol Bi-Otch. I do not understand the desire or need for putting illegal drugs, or alcohol either for that matter into your body. It is a waste of money and you are not in control of your extremities, or of your behavior, your actions etc. If you need calm and peacefullness then why not turn to God for the peace that "we all need". He is free, loving and there. Why turn to a drug? Why not take your money and try just once see how good it feels doing something for someone else, buy some clothes shoes for a child. ...been smoking for at least 6 years and not once have i experienced another drug or even wanted to. the effect of a drug and the want of wanting a harder drug depends on the user and the type of mindframe/mindset they have. Also, life goals they may have. Family and support plays a big part also. Im a 20 year old college student, IT major/Psychology minor working full time as a tech support agent(not highly important but..) I have everything i want and need in life at the moment, no kids. Cash, Car, Clothes, a Home to call my own, all of the above. and yes i smoke weed, only. So, i know SOMEONE will challenge something i said but it's AG cuz i got tha answer fo ya

When are people going to realize that weed isnt bad for all people. some people can smoke and be happy and it doesnt effect their life at all. i mean for god sakes, they proscribe it to people with Glycoma.(sp)

to the supporters, luv ya! the doubters just keep doin whatcha do! If you looked at me, you would NEVER guess i smoked marijuana. I have for quite some time and im not that old. in high school I maintained at least a 'B average'. college, straight A's.Im not a stoner but i do use marijuana often. Some people may not have self control or self awareness when or if using a substance, which results in a bad experience. Most 'more' harmful drugs are man-made. Im not promoting it but there are far more harmful drugs in the world such as X, meth, crack, cocaine, etc. even cigarettes.. Arguing about weed will not make a point...i personally think i am a very gifted and smart individual that happens to smoke weed, but you would never know or guess unless i told you.

Alice C.: I seriously doubt that your job is extremely important. If it was, and you do happen to be "pro-pot" and not just a self absorbed pot-head (more likely), then your high-n-mighty power could be used for the purpose of furthering what you perceived to be the public's best interest. The problem is, the public DOES NOT WANT TO LEGALIZE POT. If you don't know why, then you are kidding yourself. (and statistically are in the minority) All the rest of the bantering out there on legalization is a pipe dream. Your "no harm-no foul" arguments do not ring true legally, realistically, or scientifically. And to complete the circle, I doubt your job is "exxxtttrrrreeeemmmmmly important." Why do I doubt? Well for one: you are an admitted drug user! Case closed. Provide me a better argument that's actual proof and not just conjecture from a smoke stained yellow tooth pot head. ha!
